Debt Consolidation – Review The Documents

June 30, 2010 on 7:52 am | By admin | In Finance | Comments Off

Every time that you take out a Debt Consolidation loan, the banks or lenders will send you a contract that you need to look over and sign. Before you put your name on the dotted line, make sure that you read through the contents thoroughly. There are some untrustworthy lenders that say one thing and write down another. Check the repayment period, the interest rate, the minimum monthly payment amount, and other clauses that the lenders may have inserted in an attempt to make more money. Make sure that you understand the terms and conditions. You can always ask if you do not understand some terms to make sure that you do not get duped into a contract that is different from what you were expecting.
